MOD Editor

The most camcorders record the scenes and create .mod or .tod format files. Have a MOD Editor, We can enjoy recording the needed DV segments (*.mod files or *.tod files) and then edit them.

With the MOD Editor, we can load our DV segments (*.mod, *.tod) and other significant files, and edit (crop, trim, merge, etc.) the selected files as an editor, and then merge the edited files into one files.At last output the edited files. The whole process is just like making a film. So interesting, just download the MOD Editor and follow the following guide.

Before reading the guide, please confirm the MOD Editor has successfully installed and prepare the DV segments and other needed files(If you want a header files, just create a flash file and store it as *.mov or *.mpg to load), and then run the software until see the following interface.

Following the steps and you are an editor.

Step 1: Click button to load video file
In the "select video file" dialog, please add the DV segments (*.mod files). If needed, make a flash header saved as *.mp4,*.mpg and other supported input formats.

Step 2:Edit video file
Preview and order the added files
Select one file and then click"" on the left preview area to preview the file. If you want to output files orderly, you can preview and click """" to order the files.

Trim the selected files
Select one file and then click""to enter trim dialog

Set the start time and the end time to clip the file.

Crop the file
Select one file and then click""to enter crop editor

Set the top, bottom, left, right value to crop the edges.It allowed to crop when previewing.

Customize the video effect
Select one file and then click""to enter settins dialog

Merge into one file
If we want to convert the all added files into one file, just tick "". And then continue the following steps to export files

Step 3: Select output format from the "Profile" list and use the default folder

Step 4: Click to convert

Once the converting is over, we can directly click "Open Folder" to open the folder which has saved the converted files.
